Each morning or at the end of the day, create a to-do list for yourself. List the tasks to be completed throughout the day. For example, if you need to set up a series of emails or to approach webmasters for banner exchanges or research website page ranks to find the best advertising deals?
When creating your daily to-do list, go into a certain amount of detail. For example, step number one could be to approach five webmasters for link exchanges. Once a task has been completed, delete it from the list.
A to-do list will give you a set guide to follow and will help promote motivation.
2 – Create a Schedule
Cross tasks from the list as they are complete can serve as a source of motivation., A schedule should specify a specific time frame for you to complete a task.
For example to submit articles to directories you paid an outsourced writer to write, set aside a specific block of time for doing so. Submit the articles between 9 and 10 am. Keep an eye on the clock, to determine if you are starting to fall behind and if so you can pick-up the pace.
3 – Use a Desktop Calendar
The use of a detailed schedule or to-do list is ideal for internet marketers with serious time management problems. If you are good at time management or staying on task, a more lax approach may be appropriate. One of those approaches is to use a desktop calendar.
Desktop calendars enable you to write various tasks on a daily slot, but without great detail. Each time you complete a task, cross it from your calendar.
Desktop calendars are easily available and there are different types available for use on a PC, tablet or even a Smart Phone.
4 – Use an Alarm Clock
An alarm clock is a cheap way to manage your time as an internet marketer. You probably already have one in your home. An alarm clock is ideal when used in conjunction with a daily schedule.
